My name is Les. I am a DSA Approved Driving instructor and DSA ORDIT Registered Instructor Trainer. I am a Grade 6 instructor which is the highest grade awarded by the DSA (Only 6 percent of driving instructors in the UK are Grade 6) The vast majority of Instructors are Grade 4 or below.

I am based in Bury, Lancashire. I have trained many driving instructors in the area, so as a learner driver you can look forward to the very best training right up to passing your test.

Remember not all instructors are the same - many have not yet passed all their qualifications and in training. Fully qualified instructors must display a green badge in the windscreen.

Les, just wanted to drop a quick note, which you can use on the website if you wanted. I've been driving 'solo' for 4 months now since I passed with you, due to work, alot of motorway stuff between Manchester and Liverpool and Northwales. I often find myself thinking back to the lessons when I'm driving as your advice was so good. I'm not sure if I could have gone solo so early if it wasn't for your teaching. Many thanks for the lessons - there were some bad times, and some good times, but you really helped me when I even doubted myself. My name is Les Currie and I provide driving lessons and driving instructor training in Bury, Bolton and all surrounding areas.

I have over 12 years experience in teaching learner drivers and training clients who are looking to take up a career as an instructor.

As well as being a driving instructor I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist, NLP and EFT practitioner with a practice located in Bury, so regardless of whether you are a nervous beginner, have had previous lessons, or struggle with dyslexia or dyspraxia, I have lots of techniques to make learning to drive a pleasant, satisfying, stress free experience. I will ensure that you quickly and easily pass your driving test and become a great driver. Previously I have taught people who have been involved in road traffic accidents, people with with agoraphobia (fear of open spaces) and fear of tunnels and bridges, so I do like a challenge!

My courses and weekly lessons are designed to offer structured, affordable training, regardless of your age or experience. Your progress is measured right from the very start using my own unique computer software. At the end of every lesson you will receive a printout that shows you exactly your progress towards test standard.

Not only do I offer expert guidance in the car, I also provide free handouts and theory test training to help accelerate your progress towards passing the test. So get it right first time, with my door-to-door service and patient helpful instruction you won't look back.

The car you learn in is a new Vauxhall Astra Elite 2.0L. It is very easy to drive and very safe. It has full leather interior with climate control, automatic lights, wipers and heated seats
